What a delightful read! I think I am a fan of epistolaries, given my experience with this and Ella Minnow Pea :) I think I would reread this book. I had a cool moment, too, when reading about O. F. O'F. W. W. -- I got cold and then felt a wave of goosebumps wash over me -- delightful! Course, that is just a small part of the book.

Darcy Heather, I thought of a book kind of similar to this one that you might like: Dear Enemy, by Jean Webster. A somewhat similar heroine ends up as a superintendent of a orphanage around the turn of the century.

For another epistolary novel, try Fanny Burney's Evelina. Burney was one of Austen's favorite writers, if that tells you anything. ;)

Heather Thanks for the recommendations Darcy! :) I hope you are doing well in your new location.
