I'm rating this book at the exact moment I've finished reading it, and while I tend to inflate ratings when they occur at this time, I doubt this book's rating will fall. Told through letters and telegrams, a la _84 Charring Cross Road_, _The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society_ includes correspondence between many different characters. This fleshes out the narrative to the point where the reader can get a better picture of what is occurring with and to the protagonist, in this case, writer Juliet Ashton. This book is good for readers of all ages - a love story, perhaps, with a bit of history thrown in. When they make this book into a movie, and I know they will, I certainly hope they do not ruin the fresh quality of the narrative.
