recommended for: EVERYONE should read this.
What can I say? Seems weird that someone who is as actively feminist as I am took till now to read this. However reading this in 2007 made me appreciate just how on the money Ms Greer was at the time. She even foresaw where the holes in second wave feminism were...
Bottom line: read it. A masterpiece of polemic, infused with an equal part of joy and anger. Its the joy that makes it stand out as THE text that literally helped to change the world. And the anger that makes you stand up and be counted. It's irrestistable...
