This book is the third and final in the trilogoy of the future written by Lois Lowry. This is the book that ties The Giver and Gathering Blue together. This is where the two stories of self realization come together and connect with each other to form one more lesson of learning who you are and how you are supposed to use your own unique gifts. I have read this book more than once also, and I love it every time. Just like The Giver and a couple parts of Gathering Blue though, it made me cry a little bit. Yet another heartfelt and touching story full of imagination and detail coming from the world of the future created by Lois Lowry.

Melodie Cuevas The son is the last one :) that rhymes!!! But yeah there is a last book

Jeanette I downloaded it last night and it's taking all my willpower not to read it. I read these with my son at night and am anxious to see if the Son ties them all together.

Melodie Cuevas :) aww that's great, have you finished it yet?
