This is a dark, dark novel about poverty and the hardships of poor factory workers in Japan. When one woman kills her abusive husband, she turns to her co-workers to help her dispose of the body. It can be pretty horrifying at times, and it's definitely an interesting look into the strength of women. By no means is this a cheerful book!
