Every once in a while I find a childrens' book that seems to say exactly what I want it too, and this is one of them. I'd like to thank Ms. Jane from B is 4 Books for recommending this in her newsletter, although perhaps I should have just listened to my daughter's review of the book back in September. She told me about a book her teacher read to them in school, about a first grader named Molly - well yes, my daughter's name is Molly and she is in first grade; So right off the bat, Molly was drawn in and hasn't forgotten it. This is a great book that very simply reminds kids to be themselves, and believe it or not, a first grader already needs to be reminded of this because unfortunately peer review starts much earlier than we would like it to. This book is a keeper for us!
I also want to comment that the illustrations are very cute.
