I recommend this book to anyone who doesn't have the SLIGHTEST clue about what it means to be a Feminist. If you have a general idea of what a feminist stands for, this book will get boring quick! I picked it up because I thought it was going to teach me something new about the subject, or maybe push me into the thought of actually becoming a true "Feminist"... but... honestly... I heard everything this girl was talking about before... nothing new. Towards the end of the book I was like BLAH BLAH BLAH (skip this page... I GET IT ALREADY!)

I imagine that I probably would have LOVED this book in High School, because I cant deny the fact that the author has a way of writing that makes you feel like your listening to your best friend instead of someone trying to preach to you...seriously -no bull crap- no skating around words like Bitch, Slut, Cunt... its ALL in there. But at this point in my life, the book wasn't all that satisfying.

Racquel This book seems like it would be interesting just by the title. You review will determine if I pick it up!! No pressure!! lol! :)

Nikki you do realize the title of this book is Full Frontal Feminism: A YOUNG WOMAN'S Guide to Why Feminism Matters.... right? It's for a younger audience that is just beginning to understand what feminism is and stands for.
