Okay as second books go, this one was very good.
I hated the fact that Total talked. Talked!! That stupid dog! It was sssssooooooo annoying and cheesy!! I think the book would have been better without the dog talking. I was okay with him being there but talking!!!! That was just really really bad.
I loved the book. I love the action and comedy. I really like stuff like that.
My question from before about "Does the government know about the School?" was answered. At first the FBI was investigating Jeb and Erasers. I liked it. I thought 'Yes! They're finally going to have some help! The government will close the School down for good and all the scientists will rot in jail!' But then when they escaped from Anne's (a FBI agent) house and they found out that Anne was the boss of the whole School thing, well that really bumed me out. I though maybe just once the government would be on the good side but......well let's just say that the government is almost never on the side of good. Sad really. I mean in so many books the government is what the main charater is fighting. In real life the government is NOT the bad guy. In fact they're the good guy. They protect us from killers. But yet in most books the government is not like what it is in real life. Or is it? What if the government is REALLY doing the bad stuff they show in books? And us normal folks never notice. Now that would be a change of veiw......
Now for Jeb. The veiw of him changes...A LOT. Well to me..... I mean at first he's the good fatherly type, but then he's the evil bad guy (that's in the first book). But then in this book you really see what he thinks about Max and the flock. He cares about them but then he's on the side of the crazy scientists. Which side is it? Good or bad? I guess we'll just have to find out.
I loved hearing the sides of the new Max and Ari. It made me have a better idea on what they thought. I mean Ari's really a seven year old in an Eraser body. He still thinks like a normal seven year old but he's way more then a normal seven year old. I mean his thoughts really kind of made me feel sorry for him. He's own father loves Max and the flock more then him. It's really sad....I also kind of felt sorry for the new Max, though it was much less. I hated the new Max more then Ari in this book but I still felt kind of sorry for her, too.
Hhhhmmmm.....I think that's it. Oh wait before you go, I love this book and can't wait to read the next. Bye! =)

“We’ll be back!” he snarled.
It was really Ari’s voice.
Boy, you just can’t kill people like you used to,” said Fang”

yes, Total was a terrible add-on to the book. I kept telling myself that he might help them with his sens of smell or something. maybe he's a major key element to the book. but no. he's just an extra burden to the flock. I'm about to read the third book and I really hope the Total thing will change. And have you noticed how Angel is changing into something evil? like a power thirsty little kid? especially the whole presedent thing and the "maybe i should be the leader". creepy (coming from a six-year old)
