This was a true story about Lois Duncan's investigation of her daughter's murder. I actually saw a bit about this on "Unsolved Mysteries" and it was very intriguing... especially considering the type of books that she writes. I was a fan of Duncan and that was my major reason for reading this book, but I also enjoy true crime novels and that was how this read--so it took much longer to read than her other books. I was a bit disappointed that the mystery remains unsolved.
