Lynne Williams Patty? Have you re-read it as an adult?

Patty Actually, no. Do I need to? LOL!

Lynne Williams I wouldn't! I discussed this topic a few hours ago with a friend. I re-read a few books I'd read as a teenager and was horrified. As an author I was shocked by how many 'great books' I'd take a red pencil to and start editing. It's horrifying! Stick with your first impressions and stay happy! Signed, a Heretic Author.

Patty LOL! Memories best left alone, I guess. I don't read any books anymore without quietly editing as I go along. One of the dark sides of being an author! You don't read any books like you did before. I'm glad you brought it to my attention though. I will leave it to memories of another life! LOL!

Lynne Williams Yes, let it be a lovely memory, like old television shows that were sooooo...pathetically predictable. Each episode was like the prior one, same characters, different day. Once in a while, I'll quietly visit someone's blog to see how they're doing. I left one rather quickly. "Can we spell florid?" Yes and we can write in a florid manner, as descriptions go on and on and on, rather like this sentence but with ever-so-lovely-beautiful words, followed by another paragraph with *more* grandiose style. Sigh. It wasn't *your* blog, if you have one and it isn't mine, since I don't have one. Oh, Patty, save your lovely memories. Exit, stage right, chains clanking, as the ghost of ruined literary dreams.
