This is without a doubt the worst book I have ever read. I wonder after reading this, how much Vonnegut had to pay the editors and press to even deem this book publishable. This book fails on every level, as a political warning against nuclear weapons, in character development, book narration (this book was narrated by a ghost one million years in the future...Kurt probably consulted a kindergartner for this), book structure, simple entertainment and more. If Kurt Vonnegut was going to try to write a satire about how the human race's brains were too big for their own good and the perils of nuclear warfare, he shouldn't have written such a joke of a book.
Believing at first this to be a linear story, I was annoyed to hear the narrator (at first seemingly the author) abruptly interupt the story several times talking about his own experiences, like anyone cares at that point.
