The book has a lot of interesting ideas. Many of them odd enough to be interesting. Others require a suspension of belief. The book seems aimed at becoming a series. So, it will be interesting to see where the author takes it. A basic premise is that the Indian Nations hold off the colonial expansion along the Mississippi river line due to the magical powers of two great Indian Leaders.
