A decent thriller. I'd listened to another Sheriff Walt story previously which would have taken place after this book. I have to say I liked that story a bit better than this one, but it's still a solid story. A secondary plot line is rather cleverly woven into the main which keeps things moving along pretty well. What I find interesting is, while the stories are fictional, the characters and places exist. There really is a Sheriff Walt and we're told the character is loosely based on the real deal. Other than Steve Berry's novels, nothing else I've read recently has made me get on the internet to find the places and try and track down the characters or history like these Ridley Person books have. I recommend!
