This book was required reading for the Honors Program at my college. We were supposed to read it over the summer, then go to a book discussion, just for fun, because we were "honors students."

I'm not sure I even made it to page 22 of this book. I could not for the life of me keep straight ANYTHING that was going on. I do have a tendency to daydream when I'm reading things I don't want to read, but for me to not even be able to connect the current page to the page before is BAD.

So, I did not finish this book. I skipped the book discussion meeting. I will likely NEVER PICK THIS BOOK UP AGAIN. I couldn't even tell you what this book was supposed to be about. War?

The funny thing is, I was somehow able to make it through The Founders and the Classics, one of our other assigned books, but not this one.
