This book is more hype than it's probably worth. It was recommended to me by just about every book site that saw my previous picks, so I figured, "Why not?" Wellllll, it's not exactly my style. The characters, with the exception of Kinko and Rosie are flat and predictable, even in an unpredictable environment such as the Depression-era circus. Without spoiling anything, the ending of this book is probably the best possible ending for the story and that's really what made me bump my review from 2 to 3 stars. Finally, an author who gets how to end a story!
