bookshelves: horror
Read in October, 2008

Boston area politician Wm. Sullivan's wife makes a bargain with the devil for the life of her terminally ill 10 year old daughter. Sokoloff is a screenwriter, and this seems written to be a B horror movie. Sokoloff's first novel, The Harrowing, was so well done. This one is predictable and not that scary.
