It's been said before, but Scalzi's writing definitely does bring to mind Heinlein in all the right ways. I thought the premise was unique and interesting, and the characters were pretty well developed. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel, and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more from Scalzi in the future.
