One of my friends gave it a 5. Another gave it a 1. I decided to give the book a try since I've seen a few bloggers raving about Lessman's books.
Too much passion. I couldn't stand it. Engaged people kissing people who weren't their fiancée. People struggling to stay pure while playing with fire. I could not understand Faith's obsession with putting herself into situations that guaranteed she'd be testing her resolve to remain pure until marriage. Ugh. I also could not understand the "let me get engaged to someone because THAT will make me forget this other guy." Um, how is that fair to the person you're engaged to? And then you go and kiss someone else while engaged, which is what you got so mad about that your finance' did! Sheesh! Talk about a double standard.
Sorry for the very vague review. Too much kissing going on and it was worse than a love triangle because there were more than three people involved.
