This book is basically an introduction book to the world of deamons and witches, their historic dislike of each other and the brutality of the world they live in, and this is the intro to all the characters that are gonna band together to fight for their own views of what they think is the right thing to do, to change their lifestyle and their world.
The main characters in this books are well structured, although i do have some issues about the main female characters strength and weaknesses. Also i gave it three starts because you know this book is building up to something and you don´t get to it even at the end, when you just see the climax starting to form, which i think is gonna be the second book, where there is some sort of real getting to their goals (or at least taking those future defining steps to what they´re gonna be ). Because of all the description and introductions its a little slow, but i do like the details with which the world is created, so there you go, three stars.
