    <body><![CDATA[Dragon Temeraire and his hapless captain Lawrence try to fight back Napoleon's latest invasion, while trying to overcome the damage they've done to their own reputations.  Lawrence is a bit of a sad sack in this one, but the overwhelming lovableness of the dragons, and the urgency of the plot, makes this a tense and wonderful read.]]></body>
