I have to admit that Mr. Tilney was an intriguing character, but the narrator drove me a bit nutty with her intermittent lectures. It was a great example of an exuberant writer wanting to teach her audience lessons--of a young girl wanting to train others...Anyway, some fun stuff inside, and a really raw, fresh feel and some very fun wit--and even the protagonist was endearing, but overall it needed a good editor!

yes, I think this is the weakest of all of her novels -- can this be the same author of Pride and Prejudice?? with Elizabeth - such a complex and well developed character with dialogue that keeps you hooked~ a bit different this one, sweet but seemingly missing something...
