This is one of those books where I wish Goodreads had half-star ratings. It's more of a 2.5 stars than 3, but whatev. I'll give it some extra credit because of the research and amount of interviews.

Frankly, I wish the book had more Xs and Os details about Lombardi's methods and what his influences were besides the motivation techinques. Still, it was an enlightening, engaging portrait of the man -- even if he does come off as a jerk.

Jeff Motivation was the key aspect of his success. The GB playbook was the thinnest in the NFL, just well executed. It was the motivation that made the difference and why he had to go to church everyday!
