really liked it

A quick, light read. Full of advice that should be obvious but always isn't. On the surface it may seem a little trite, but not entirely so. I was intrigued to see the book acknowledge some thoughts I thought only I had on my process (under the section of "fake it 'til you make it").

Fairly cheap. Quick read. Worth reading once and then perhaps passing on to a friend. Might make a good gift to creative friends--particularly if they're just starting out. Worth keeping on the shelf? I don't know yet. I'll have to see if I go back to it or not in times to come.

One mildly amusing note... the author obviously takes his own advice when it comes to "stealing" in that many pages feature quotes on the creative process from various notable artists, writers, musicians, and so forth.
