New Mexico is the greatest state for driving along and suddenly blurting out "what the hell is that?" Of course, your next mumble will be "how did it get here?"

This is the book that explains it all--from roadside shrines, to the largest chile fields in the world.

It seems like the roadside attractions are endless but this field guide does a pretty good job of cataloguing a lot of them.

The historical stuff ain't bad either.
