it was amazing

I love the prose from H. G. Wells' books. They all inspire, captivate, and help one envision the world of which he writes. The Invisible Man almost convinced me that invisibility would be possible through some chemical means.

The book was a page-turner from beginning to end, in true Wellsian style. Part thriller, part mystery, part adventure, one cannot help but feel sorry for the invisible man at first, and then be horror-struck by his actions at the end. The doom that awaits him is truly one destined for such a man.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone, for both the prose and the overall story. Narratives seem to be my cup of tea at the moment.
