I'm torn about this book. I want to continue reading it, but the author's prose style is so unfocused and boring. It's a manifesto thinly disguised as a spy novel.

Nearly every sentence in this book qualifies, according to the standards of my many English teachers, as a run-on sentence. Is this a Spanish cultural thing? Does it have something to do with the translation? I'm not sure.

If it was a shitty book, I'd just toss it over my shoulder and grab the next one on my list. The story, when the author gets around to moving the plot, is quite interesting.
