This book is about a demon doctor named Eidolon and a half breed demon called Tayla. Eidolon is a type of incubi demon and he is quickly approaching his sexual maturity (at 100 years).. if he doesn't find a mate soon he will pretty much go insane. Tayla is apart of the Aegis, who hunt down and kill demons. She is injured and is taken to the demon hospital where Eidolon works. They hate eachother, but they don't hate each other.

Eidolon doesn't want anyone killing Tayla because she might be of use to him. There are things out there that are killing demons and taking their internal organs. Tayla of course, insists that her agency has nothing to do with it.

I don't know, I liked the interaction between Tayla and E, they had some pretty nice encounters. But the story line was a little boring to me. I wasn't really interested in the organ thing, and I was more interested in the story line between the two main characters. I did enjoy the book and I will probably read the next one, just to see what happens to E's brothers. I liked the characters but not the plotline.. if that makes sense.

I heard the next book was a little better, so we'll see how that goes.
