Why hasn't this novel been made into a movie yet? As great as it is as a book, its just asking to be made into a screenplay.

Caitlyn We were talking about this in my book club a couple years ago when we read this. One thought that came up was that the kids are so young when they enter battle school and they are having such a huge impact and doing things with such an overwhelming outcome that it might not be believable on the screen. No one wants to witness really young kids having to do such tough things (even killing other kids). Maybe this isn't valid, but just a thought...

Shelbi This is very true.
I was thinking along the lines of the Battle School battles: I felt like it would be easier to see than to visualize in one's head.
