it was amazing
Read from October 03 to 09, 2012

I loved Lisa Genova's two previous novels and could not wait for this novel to be released. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous to read it based on some of the reviews I read. I am so glad I did read it.

I absolutely loved this novel. The main characters could easily be real women. Peers of my own. Women with real insecurities, real families, real troubles, real friends, and real desires. Women who need to know where they belong and what they want in this life.

I was also fascinated by Ms. Genova's portrayal of autism, but this was not my main focus. When I read Anthony's words, the workings of his mind became clear. I am not naive enough to think this allows me to "know" autism, but I feel some insight I was lacking before.

I truly began to care for Olivia and Beth. I hope this review convinces someone to read this book, and that they enjoy it as much as I did.
