    <body><![CDATA[The closest thing to perfection in a novel I've read in a very long time. The story of a boy's relationship with his father. But also it's about the way our smallest decisions dictate our future. At one point, the main character Trond considers hitting a man (he's a teenager at the time). Looking back, he acknowledges that had he hit the man he'd have become a completely different person. It's an astonishing insight.]]></body>
