What a wonderful treat reading this story, my first by Jodi Picoult. I am familiar with her but never read any of her works, till LONE WOLF!
A true "page turner" for me that I did not want to put down!

Starting with a devastating car accident, Like Warren, father to Edward and Cara ends up in a coma with very little chance of recovery. Edward has been estranged from his father for 6 years, returns when he finds out about the accident and he and Cara must make a life deciding decision for their father.

The story unfolds, character by character, revolving around Luke and his studies of Wolves and how it has effected his family. There is amazing detail and research discussed about wolves that will have you totally captivated.

Slowly, each character tells their story; the ex-wife, Georgie, the son, Edward, daughter, Cara and Warren. And you will slowly be drawn into this family drama, character by character overlaid with an absolute fascination of wolf behavior in the wild and how every family members life has been changed by it.
