I really enjoyed this book. It's a quick, fun read, and describes a year of eating (and growing!) local foods by a family that moves to a small farmhouse.

It's arranged by months, describing the planting and harvest of their veggies, but also the reasons they're buying and eating only local organic foods.

The stories are great, particularly when the family's 9-year old daughter decides she's going to have an egg business, and the description and explanation of how they harvest the turkeys they'd been feeding all season.

Good stuff.
