Clinton is a good writer. I didn't expect that. Of course, that was when I didn't know he had a Master's in journalism. The book is both entertaining and informative, fit for mass consumption as well as those actually looking to improve themselves. I find myself in the latter category. I really enjoyed the Queer Eye guide to style and I was hoping this would be more of the same. While this book has been rumored to be for women, I wasn't disappointed.

Clinton is heavy on the advice for women, and, since they are going to be the ones buying this book, he shound be. However, there is some good advice for guys, too. The feminine slant mostly stays in the portion dealing with clothes. Otherwise, the information on speaking, acting, eating, and decorating are applicable to both sexes and everyone in between.

There are a lot of delicious looking recipes in this book that I can't wait to try. I appreciated the section on grammar, as too few people have an appreciation for not sounding like an idiot while talking.

I thought it was great.
