it was amazing
Read in September, 2012

This is a book that just keeps creeping up on you. The narrator, Sarah, is generally likable and spunky, but has the kind of insecurities and little failings a 16-year-old might have. Even though the story is told in the first person, the prose is often lovely and even poetic. I found the mystery kept me turning the pages and looking for every clue.

The ending was just amazing. I read some other reviews that didn't like it much, but I thought it was surprising and mind-blowing but completely supported by all the hints along the way.

I am *really* looking forward to the sequel because I just can't imagine where the story is going, but I sure want to find out.
