You never know what's going to happen in Last Chance, South Carolina other than something magical. The last couple of days I have been reading Last Chance Christmas by Hope Ramsay.

Before I share what the story is about you might need refresh your memory on another story. Back in August I read a novella Last Chance Bride. Which shared the story of Sharon and Stone getting married. Sweet little novella. However, you start reading the story of Last Chance Christmas you find out Sharon is no longer in the picture. I know your going what. But it's all good and here is what the story is about:

Six years after his wife passing away Stone Rhodes is still having a hard time getting pass his wife's death. Basically, he is a shell of a man who would love for his wife to come back. However, that is not possible. Stone is alone in the world trying to raise his two daughters. However, he meets Lark Chaikin, who just wants to fulfill her father's last wishes to have his ashes scatter on the 18th hole of a mini golf course.

With Lark coming to town, stirs up some trouble from the past. Half the town doesn't mind her being there and the other half would like her to leave. All she wants to do is fulfill the wishes of her father. Will she be able to complete the task? Will Stone find love again? Or a better question would be, can he open his heart to find a new love?

My thoughts: I actually loved the story. Truly heart warming, especially when you see Stone learning to love again. I love Lark, and she's different from Sharon, yet similar. I was sad to hear how Sharon died, but it made Stone grow more. I would consider this like It's a Wonderful Life type of story. After all there is an angel in the story. A really good feel good book that opens the possibility of love in more ways than one. So, if you are looking for a wonderful Christmas story this season you might want to check out Hope Ramsay's Last Chance Christmas, and possible learn to true meaning of Christmas.

Well, I will see you all later and I hope you are having fun reading whatever your reading.
