This is Steve Berry's best novel so far. The flow of the story was rigid, it maintained a kind of vividness from beginning to end that the reader just can't help but turn the page one after another. Like every novelist, he kept the reader wanting to know what would happen next. The Third Secret is a historical thriller, but the conflict: traditional Catholicism against the hidden truth, and man's stubbornness at believing only what was long believed, against one man's pursuit to open the world to a truth long deprived of them; is one who's fond of thriller and/or fond of history cannot miss. There are many facts stated in this book, facts that I have always kept in mind ever since finishing it; facts about the Roman Church, facts about the truth in few revelations, and the malice and cruelty hidden behind that long struggle of Christianity to rule and influence.
