Another enjoyable, chaotic meandering of mind through a book of minor entertainment value.
Leven starts coming into his own, and Winter...well..doesn't. Sad that the more interesting character is not Leven, but Clover and Winter.
The land of Foo and the ordeals Leven and his compatriots go through seem the random meanderings of an Alice-In-Wonderland-obsessed author. The main plot still moves forward, with even some interesting side-stories, so I'd still recommend it to anyone with time on their hands to not really learn anything and who can grin in head-scratching wonderment at the imagination of the author.
