This book was....entertaining. It took me a while to read it but i got trough it. The Baudelaires are very smart for their age. I was very impressed by what they have acomplished. I am continuing to read the rest of the serious. What i really like that Lemmoney Snicket does is he builds a lot of suspence to the story. For exsample when the children were in the water and they found a submerine thing but they didn't know who it was and they asked for a password. That part was the most entertaining. Also when the little green blimps showed up on the screen and they had to stay absoulutly still. The part that threw me off was when the girl with the tringle glasses went with count olaf; she was also the hook handed mans long lost sister.
