    <body><![CDATA[Donald Westlake's death is a huge loss, as I loved everything of his that he wrote (especially the Parker books), but this book was really spectacular was well. The premise (a man who's lost his job late in life in the paper industry and can't find work, so he puts out an ad in a trade magazine to kill others that could be competition for him) is so horrifyingly desperate and real its touching and scary at the same time. What lengths would you go to for your lifestyle?]]></body>
