really liked it

This is a fictional account about two teen girls who looked a lot alike who were in a car accident; one died; one was in the hospital in a coma for weeks, and then it turns out that the girl who is alive is the girl they thought was dead. Much upheaval in the families and the mother of the now-dead girl goes totally wacko and gets mean and vicious as the surviving girl struggles to get better. Very good read, and interesting for me to read about the reactions of parents to the death of a child, as I also have lost a teenage son in an accident. This title is based on research from similar real-life incidents. It would be an interesting choice for a book discussion.
