Uneven bit of mostly non-fiction. Overtime I have found Stephenson to be more and more wordy. I wish he would write more like Zodiac or Diamond Age or Snow Crash. But I mostly enjoyed this. But I definitely can see more and more the conversation of ideas. Both this book and my last one basically talked about uploading as rapture. And Armageddon as Eschatonic in nature. I'm also always up for a conversation on why sf authors don't get no respect. And anyone who re-acronymizes sf as speculative fiction from than science fiction is someone I'm going to listen to better. But in the end I just liked his answer to "In a fight between you and William Gibson, who would win?"
