Holy crap, this book. THIS BOOK.

I literally loved everything about it, and yes, you should read that in a Rob Lowe on Parks & Recreation voice. But I DID. The serial killer/occult aspect is seriously terrifying (I mentioned to a friend on Twitter that Naughty John is second only to Pennywise on a list of "Fictional Characters That Scare The Crap Out Of Me") but I also loved the fact that it's set in the 1920s. It makes me want my next birthday party to be flapper-themed and there's a very good chance that I am going to try and bring some of the slang back.*

If it weren't for the fact that this book terrified me beyond all reason, I'd love to live in it. (New York in the 20s! Evie! Jericho! Mabel! Except Naughty John ALSO lives in it, so forget that.)

This book is perfect. Highly recommended. But don't read it at night.

* = This book is the berries.
