Sweden is such a country where I don't really expect racism. I don't know why, there are foreigners there too. It still came as a kind of shock, that it apparently is so 'normal' that even books are written with this as one of the subjects.

After the shock had gone I enjoyed the book very much. The same 'never letting go untill I am finished' mentality that Wallander has in all Mankell's books, combined with not too much words, no exaggerating. Just a good crime novel.
