Read from September 21 to 26, 2012

As others have described, "The Cutting Season" is a tightly-plotted book that traces two parallel mysteries--the modern-day murder mystery of a migrant worker on the grounds of an old Antebellum-era plantaion and the disappearance of a former slave from that same plantation in 1872. I devoured this book in about three days. It's a great read, I definitely recommend it!
