This is totally a character book. Bulldog, Boo, Lexi, Ryan. Leo Gage. I loved the originality of it all. It gave me a reprieve from some of the books i've been reading lately, and i'm so happy I read it. Jane and Lexi were so cute. I loved them. The Creep Sisters.
The idea of someone's own shadow killing them was quite intriguing. I'm extremely morbid, so this book was actually kind of perfect for me. McNamee's writing, though not at a Maggie Steifvater level, was still very creative. I liked a lot of the creative sentences he put in there, as well as a lot of the new horror scenario's. (Breaking free from the floor boards? Totally awesome.)
