The third entry in the very popular "Origami Yoda" series. This time the kids at McQuarrie Middle School are missing weird Dwight and his finger puppet, but will a Chewbacca cootie catcher (or fortune teller) take the place of Origami Yoda? Tommy starts another casebook to find out. It is a shame that funny books like this get pushed down to younger and younger kids so that the kids who'd really get the humor (say 5th-8th) won't be caught dead reading them. This is another very funny book from Angleberger, with sly illustrations and some LOL moments. These books, despite parent and teacher disdain, are remarkably well done and worthwhile reading for kids. Not quite 4 stars, but darn close.
