Review: This story was about and toad and frog who were friends. The first chapter is introducing the concept of seasons to the young reader as well as the months of the year. Toad did not want to get out of bed until he was convinced it was warm and truly spring outside. The next chapter tells of a day when Frog was not feeling well and Toad was there right by his side and ready to tell him and story only he could not come up with one. Then there is a chapter where Toad and Frog went for a long walk and discovered that Toad has lost a button so they went back and retraced their steps and found every button except for Toad's button. Another chapter is about Frog and Toad going swimming and the embarrasment of a swimming suit. Lastly, the chapter about the letter dicusses how Toad waits every day for the mail and never receives a letter. Frog has a solution.

Learning experience: The children will learn social and emotional fundamentals of friendship in small group discussion. The children will learn the months of the year as well as the seasons and how they change.
