This is not just about bending the old rules: it really organizes succinctly old traditions of weddings. Handy!

Janet Patterson I am engaged (as of Tuesday night). We are planning an end-of-June wedding, so I am interested in anything you learn! This book sounds like a good place to start. Did you buy it in town?

Congratulations! I got it from the library. I got engaged Dec. 30!

I really like the charts in this book that quickly lay out wedding traditions. It also talks about how couples are doing things differently these days, thus the "bending the rules" part. That makes it realistic to me.
