This short story is a quick and satisfying read. It gives an accurate portrayal of baseball, which lends credibility to the story, and makes one think this could really happen (at least that's how I felt). The main character, a widower living in Florida, watches baseball on television and sees faces from his past in the stands behind home plate - people that are dead and buried. Without spoiling why he's seeing these faces, I'll simply say I enjoyed the final reveal. This one can easily be digested in one sitting, and I highly recommend it for fans of Stephen King, baseball, or simply those who enjoy tales on the speculative side of fiction
