I've been "currently-reading" this for about 9 months. Chipping away, chipping away. Is there no end in sight?

ZOMG! I did it. Finally put the bastard to bed. At this point not entirely sure how I feel about the book. Do I talk about just this title, or the whole damn cycle? Can I even remember what happened in the first volume that I read three years ago?

This book is pure Stephenson. Detailed, descriptive, researched Stephenson. And its epic in all those accounts as well as length, especially when tacked onto the other two volumes. I probably would have more positive things to say if I was able to read it in a shorter period of time, but as things stand I am just tired.
